About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee in Engineering - Production Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work on-site with QinetiQ - Enoggera, a leading defense technology company.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Site Supervisor with site administration, including signing users in and answering queries.
- Assist with basic maintenance of Maker Space equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and power tools, under the supervision of the Site Supervisor.
- Manage 3D print queues under the supervision of the Site Supervisor.
- Assist the Site Supervisor with training offerings after basic induction and initial upskilling, primarily in CAD and potentially basic electronics and robotics.
- Assist with basic CAD enquiries and offer advice under the supervision of the Site Supervisor.
- Supervise the use of basic power tools after basic induction and initial upskilling.

As the successful candidate, you will receive:
- A competitive salary of $21,500 - $30,000 plus 11% Superannuation National Training Wage Award.
- A fully funded qualification in Certificate II in Engineering - Production Technology.
This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified Role. Only Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply for this position.
