Job Title: Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional service standards.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping function, ensuring that cleaning and laundry services meet high standards. This includes managing the housekeeping budget, ordering supplies, and supporting the Regional Hospitality team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the housekeeping team to ensure a clean and maintained environment that meets our high standards.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and policies.
  • Oversee and manage Cleaning and Laundry Assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage performance of rostered staff according to scope of practice, position descriptions, qualifications, and roles and responsibilities.
  • Prioritize work within established policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the housekeeping budget and ordering supplies is required.
  • Experience in cleaning is crucial.
  • Formal qualifications in cleaning operations are an advantage.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus are vital.
  • Comprehensive computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel) is required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills are necessary.
