Job Overview

A busy builder is seeking a Site Supervisor to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial projects and be able to manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the site manager in coordinating and supervising construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Oversee excavation, structure, and finishes phases of the project
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Monitor project progress and report to the site manager on a regular basis
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff, preparing them for future leadership roles
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor/foreman delivering projects in excess of $30m
  • Previous experience with Tier 1 or 2 construction companies
  • Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects
  • Ability to effectively lead a team and solve problems under pressure
  • Desire to advance into a site manager role in the future
  • Proven experience completing projects from start to completion
  • Proven longevity at past businesses
