The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of port equipment, including ship-to-shore cranes, gantry cranes, and rubber-tyred gantry cranes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of port equipment to identify potential hazards and defects.
  2. Assess the condition of equipment and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance actions.
  3. Prepare detailed reports of inspections, including findings, recommendations, and timelines for repairs.
  4. Collaborate with other engineers and maintenance teams to ensure timely and safe resolutions of equipment issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience as an engineer.
  • Previous experience within the Port Services environment is highly desirable.
