We are excited to present an opportunity at Stockland, where we are advancing our strategic initiatives.
The Senior Treasury Analyst will report directly to the Senior Treasury Manager and will play a crucial role in the execution of funding and financial risk management strategies. This position will also ensure the delivery of precise financial analysis and reporting, which is essential for the effective management of Stockland's treasury functions. Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders will be a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Treasury Manager in developing and executing funding and financial risk management strategies across the Stockland Group, adhering to relevant policies.
- Collaborate with the Senior Treasury Manager to source, negotiate, and finalize all financing documentation, ensuring alignment with existing agreements and reflecting Stockland's commercial objectives.
- Conduct and interpret treasury-related analyses to uncover key insights and provide recommendations that enable informed decision-making for stakeholders.
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of all internal and external treasury-related reports, ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, debt investors, derivative counterparties, and rating agencies, to support the execution of Stockland's strategic goals.
- Proactively identify and implement continuous improvements in business processes, controls, management systems, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and best practices.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including support for M&A and capital transactions.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced analyst who thrives in a dynamic and agile environment. You should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and ownership over multiple tasks. A proactive, outcome-oriented approach is essential, along with the ability to collaborate and influence a diverse range of peers and stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Experience in analytical roles within treasury and/or financial markets.
- Commercially driven, insightful, and curious.
- Proven track record of engaging with a variety of stakeholders in a complex business environment, including experience with intricate transactions and joint venture structures.
- Experience in business partnering through the provision of insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Reval is advantageous.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics is required.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
