Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineers to enhance our dynamic team in Perth. In this role, you will report directly to the Group Manager - Engineering and play a crucial part in delivering precise and compliant engineering design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering proficient and precise design contributions for mechanical drawing production;
  • Conducting thorough reviews of mechanical drawings to ensure adherence to design specifications;
  • Executing accurate engineering designs and calculations in line with project, client, and regulatory standards;
  • Interpreting engineering documentation, specifications, and scopes effectively;
  • Identifying scope variations and preparing the necessary documentation;
  • Ensuring the appropriate equipment is sourced to fulfill project requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification;
  • A minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in a mechanical role within the mineral processing sector is preferred;
  • Proven ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues;
  • Strong technical aptitude along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge across multiple disciplines;
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
