Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our part-time team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a difference in the lives of our patients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within a theatre complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care by following evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrating advanced clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the theatre complex.
  • Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.
  • Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional development.
  • Providing education and training assistance to other staff when applicable.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 18 months experience as an RN - Scrub Scout
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Basic computer skills
