Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. As a key member of our pathology collection service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients across various settings.

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to contribute to the success of our team.
  • You will be responsible for performing venepuncture and other duties related to specimen collection, data entry, processing, and delivery into sites for pathology investigations.

The successful candidate must have a Certificate III in Pathology Collections and/or previous experience in venepuncture or a demonstrated ability to learn all aspects of the clinical environment relevant to the Department.

Key Requirements
  • Certificate III in Pathology Collections
  • Previous experience in venepuncture or a demonstrated ability to learn all aspects of the clinical environment
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and skills
  • Unencumbered Class C Driver's License (valid in NSW)
  • Ability to manage a demanding professional team environment
