Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter">

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of fuel installation assets and equipment.
  • Carry out diagnostic checks and repairs in a breakdown environment to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Participate in project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment.
  • Support subcontracted work packages as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide technical support and assistance to various sites in the region, including occasional travel to sites throughout WA.

You will report to a Maintenance Supervisor, based at Pearce RAAF Base with occasional regional travel across WA. As part of a core crew of UGL technicians.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant trade certification (e.g. mechanical fitting).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical fitting or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
