Skilled Fitter and Mechanic Required

Key Role Summary
This key role involves working as a skilled and reliable fitter, maintaining machinery, equipment, and services to meet site objectives. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain machinery, equipment, and services to meet or exceed site production targets, quality standards, and spoilage levels.
- Pursue mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and maintain plant uptime.
- Exhibit a high level of safety awareness, setting the standard for health, safety, and wellbeing within the team.
- Drive high-quality performance and culture within the workplace.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
- Minimum 3-5+ years experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in maintenance, preventative maintenance planning, and corrective maintenance systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot control systems and mechanical faults on equipment.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, air systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements
- Meet requirements of pre-employment medical checks, including drug & alcohol testing.
