Director of Education and Childcare

Lead a high-performing childcare service as the Director of Education and Childcare.

A strong 2IC with 2-3 years of experience in early childhood education is sought to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building occupancy and driving performance in a similar role.

We are looking for someone who is young, energetic, and well-versed in current industry practices.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a positive and supportive work culture and contribute to the development of our centre's educational programs.

As Director of Education and Childcare, you will oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children and staff.
  • Managing the centre's resources, including budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising staff members, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to staff.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of educational programs that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
  • Ensuring programs are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Monitoring and assessing program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
