We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Configuration and Data Management Specialist.
- This is a dynamic opportunity for an individual with expertise in configuration management, document/data management services, and project coordination.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering configuration management (CM) and document/data management services for various projects. This includes identifying and managing engineering baselines within the CM toolset, supporting change, configuration, and review boards, as well as CM audits.
About the RoleThis position requires close collaboration with project and engineering personnel to ensure data, documentation, and media are catalogued, stored, and retrievable. Key responsibilities include:
- Configuration Management:
- Evaluating CM processes against industry standards;
- Coordinating engineering data, documentation, and technical media management;
- Supporting Engineering Review Boards and Change Control Boards;
- Registering, tracking, and reporting approved configuration changes.
- Receiving, registering, controlling, and distributing supplier and customer data;
- Managing controlled project data, documentation, and media distribution;
- Filing, indexing, and retrieving records in support of project requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years' experience in the defence or air traffic management industry, industry-recognised training in configuration and data management, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and specialist configuration management tools.
