Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team in Townsville, Queensland.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding building projects including major renovations, new builds, sheds, driveways, patios, and extensions.

You will be responsible for reading and interpreting plans, sketches, and drawings to ensure accurate and efficient workflow. You will also ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards with a focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.

Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople is essential to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of projects. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and adhering to all relevant safety protocols are also key responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A completion of a relevant carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified carpenter in the building and construction industry
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Strong practical skills and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well within a team
