Role Overview: The Home School Liaison Program plays a crucial role in supporting schools and families in ensuring students maintain regular attendance. This program is overseen by Delivery Support staff throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold attendance policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with team members to promote and execute attendance initiatives.

Conditions: This is a temporary appointment for a duration of three years. Candidates must be willing to travel between various worksites.

Salary: Compensation will align with teacher salaries, supplemented by a Home School Liaison Officer allowance. Successful candidates will be required to participate in a training program.

Requirements:

  • An unconditional full approval to teach is mandatory.
  • All employees in Special Schools must comply with vaccination requirements as specified by the Department of Education.
