Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Sydney/Melbourne. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining business applications and critical infrastructure inside the AWS Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
  • Ensure that the design is fit for purpose while conforming to the enterprise architecture principles and related standards.
  • Participate in documenting the solution and providing advice and guidance to enable the solution development.
  • Promote architecture standards and requirements amongst technology and business stakeholders.
  • Deliver architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Cooperate closely with Project team members to ensure delivery.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in influencing teams and preferably within matrix structures.
  • Able to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a concise and clear way.
  • A logical approach to problem-solving and complexity disaggregation.
  • Tenacity and patience along with high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • A strong team-based approach to work.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and globally dispersed virtual team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Math's / Science or Information Technology / Business.
  • Architect certification like TOGAF is a plus.
