This is a stable, hands-on career that values teamwork, strong communication skills and common sense. As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for supervising and managing inmates in correctional facilities, including prisons and court cells throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keeping inmates accounted for during daily routines
  • Monitoring safety and security risks
  • Conducting searches to maintain a secure environment
  • Supervising activities like work programs or visits
