**Job Opportunity: Parcel Sorter**

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a parcel sorter. This role involves sorting parcels and mail using scanners, loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices), working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines, operating and using load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers while cooperating with operations staff to get the mail into the facility.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Sorting parcels and mail using manual or machine-assisted methods
  • Loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages
  • Working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines
  • Operating and using load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers

**Requirements:**

- Available to work from October through our peak period

- Enjoy a physical role, can lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly

- Great memory and attention to detail

- Safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans

- Comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products
