Job Opportunity: HSEQ Advisor

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, environment, quality policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Maintain and update health, safety, environment, quality documentation, including risk assessments, training records, and audit findings.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational and site-based teams.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations, including corrective action planning.
  • Coordinate and deliver health, safety, environment, quality training inductions and toolbox sessions.
  • Stay current with health, safety, and environmental legislation, ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Lead subcontractor assessment, onboarding, and compliance monitoring.
  • Support tender preparation and submissions in consultation with the Head of HSEQ.
  • Assist with emergency response planning, injury management, and workers' compensation documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, Diploma desirable, background in construction, mining, oil, and gas, or related industries experience with incident investigation methodologies (ICAM, Taproot, Comet, etc.), strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, high level of accuracy and attention to detail in maintaining health, safety, environment, quality records and documentation, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive a positive safety culture, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems, experience with client software highly regarded, a proactive, self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
