Your New Role:
This position involves supporting teams in implementing evidence-based disability practice within their hubs and areas. As a consolidated or advanced clinician, you will achieve clinical targets relevant to Queensland hubs and provide input into therapy plans, raise clinical concerns, propose solutions, and support team members with learning and development activities.
You will also mentor new graduates completing their induction program and promote the Everyday Independence Clinical Model, championing new practices developed by our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate extensive experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in community-based settings, especially in a disability setting
- Hold a tertiary-qualified degree in Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA for clinical work
- Show strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Be knowledgeable about contemporary therapy practices and services
- Commit to ongoing learning and development
- Prioritise tasks and influence delivery of practical solutions within timelines
- Experience in working with clinical strategies and achieving targets
- Familiarity with risk prevention and management
- Ability to compile, analyse, and present statistical data
- Commitment to achieving outcomes for individuals living with disabilities and supporting them to reach their full potential
- WWCC and NDIS Checks
