Senior Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Digital Insurer program, you will play a pivotal role in managing vendor contracts with meticulous attention to detail.

This strategic position combines finance, stakeholder collaboration, and data integrity to drive commercial success. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will contribute to the commercial management and performance of the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead contract administration and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless commercial financial management.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, including month-end activities, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain financial ledgers, registers, and data quality to support decision-making and governance.
  • Innovate and enhance Program management and reporting of vendor contract spend, utilizing various technology systems and collaborating with the Financial Controller.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of external workers, managing access via the External Workers Database.
  • Identify and track risks, ensuring governance and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in financial services with finance business partnering and/or complex commercial/project management.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (mandatory); CPA or CA (desired).
  • Strong finance business partnering skills with advanced financial management and reporting capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and spend tracking.
  • Exposure to contract management with an understanding of contractual terms, performance metrics, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of process improvement, innovation, and skill in using Excel and data analytics systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
