Tax Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our Corporate Tax Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the provision of taxation services for allocated corporate clients.
As a Tax Manager, your primary focus will be on overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with corporate income tax regulations, and preparing and reviewing income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver comprehensive corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs.
- Support senior team members in complex tax engagements, including risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, requiring collaboration with specialist teams in international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy and transactions.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members by fostering their career development and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
Requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters.
- Hold a Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage.
