Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Medical Director

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Obstetrics and Gynaecology professional to provide exceptional leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and midwives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support doctors in training, promoting their growth and development.
- Lead a team of medical officers and midwives, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements:
- Registration with AHPRA and at least 12 months recent experience in the field.
- Hold the FRANZCOG or be on RANZCOG training program, ensuring expertise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Eligibility for the Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ, allowing for seamless transition and career progression.
Work Environment:
The hospital is a 370-bed public facility, offering a range of services including Aged Care & Rehabilitation Service, Community Health Service, and Mental Health Service, all located on one site. Recent redevelopment has included the construction of a new Emergency Department and Mental Health residential facility, enhancing patient care and staff satisfaction.
Location:
Suburban Perth, Western Australia, approximately 30 minutes from the CBD, providing a great work-life balance and access to scenic parks, modern conveniences, and a range of experiences and activities.
