This is a key role within our multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering health and developmental screening in early education settings.

You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing family-centred services, working closely with clients and carers/families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Governance and Leadership: Provide expert clinical leadership, ensuring safe, timely, compassionate, and high-quality person-centred care within paediatric occupational therapy services.
  • Program Implementation: Support the successful implementation of the Brighter Beginnings preschool health and development screening program.
  • Assessments and Interventions: Conduct comprehensive assessments, provide early intervention, capacity building, and direct care pathways for children in South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD).
  • Evaluation and Education: Participate in the evaluation of Brighter Beginnings initiatives and assist in the development of education and training programs.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise level 1/2 occupational therapists, allied health assistants, and students as guided by the Head of Department and Brighter Beginnings Project Lead.
