About Our Youth Services

Our youth services provide an integrated suite of programs engaging with young people across the country.

We create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities.

The Role

This role is part of our commitment to providing holistic care that includes physical, emotional, and spiritual support.

You will be working closely with a team to establish effective relationships with young people and key stakeholders to enhance outcomes.

  • Provide case management support to young people aged between 15 to 25 who have or who are in care;
  • Encourage and enhance young people's connections to the service and wider community;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and data in accordance with TSA standards and procedures using TSA information systems;
  • Work within young people's identified support systems and alongside stakeholders to enhance outcomes;
  • Implement safe work practices both in the workplace and in the community when working outside of the office.
Your Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in social work, social science, or community services;
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment and working with youth at risk (at least 2 years desirable);
  • The skills to engage and build relationships with young people who have experienced trauma;
  • A current and valid Working with Children Card;
  • A current Drivers license;
  • A Department of Child Protection and Family Support Criminal History check;
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
