Mental Health Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced support worker to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities and provide personal care and companionship to individuals requiring support.
- Prepare meals and facilitate community access for clients.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, including schizoaffective disorder and behaviours of concern.
- Certification in Disability or Aged Care Services, Individual Support or Mental Health is highly regarded.
- A valid National/International Police Check, Working With Children Check, NDIS Screening Check, Infection Control Training, COVID-19 Vaccination record, and First Aid Certificate (including resuscitation) are mandatory.
- A full Victorian Driver's License and comprehensive vehicle insurance are also required.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status, including booster shots, must be provided.
- Introduction to the NDIS training module certificate is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid Certification, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Certificate, and Driver Licence are beneficial.
Work Authorisation:
- Authorisation to work in Australia is highly sought after.
Work Location:
- Full-time role based in person at our Melbourne South Eastern location.
