Job Title: Dental Officer (D1-3) / Senior Dental Officers (SD1-3)

The position of Dental Officer (D1-3) or Senior Dental Officers (SD1-3) at Oral Health Services in Alice Springs offers an exciting opportunity to work as a clinician in the field of oral health.

Key responsibilities include providing high-quality oral health clinical services to eligible client groups, engaging clients in treatment planning and promoting effective self-care.

  • Deliver preventative care including check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify oral health needs and develop treatment plans that meet those needs
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery

Role Responsibilities: As a Dental Officer (D1-3) you provide high-quality oral health clinical services to eligible client groups both adults and children in urban, rural and remote areas.

As Senior Dental Officers (SD1-3) you contribute as a member of the oral health team, including carrying out general anaesthetic services, leadership, and supervising/developing students.

Skills and Qualifications: Requires a degree in Dentistry registrable with the Dental Board of Australia under AHPRA, with relevant knowledge and experience in client engagement and treatment planning.
