Family Doctor Position Overview

This role is ideal for a dedicated Family Physician who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the overall well-being of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Health Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough health examinations, obtain health histories, diagnose medical conditions, and direct patients on treatment plans.
  • Prescription Management: Prescribe medication in accordance with state laws and professional practice guidelines.
  • Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, adhering to established Health Information Management policies and procedures.
  • Referrals and Collaborations: Arrange referrals for patients requiring specialized care, facilitate continuity of care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in clinical practice and a collaborative spirit to a team that values patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication skills and empathetic demeanor.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a General Practitioner or Family Physician.
  • Licence to practice medicine in Australia.
