Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Chief Academic Officer for NSW Secondary Education. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for driving academic excellence and strategic initiatives across the school.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, developing and implementing curriculum programs, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. They will be expected to work closely with the executive team to develop and implement whole-school strategic priorities, drive improvement in teaching and learning practices, and build the capacity of individuals and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of curriculum programs that meet the needs of all students
  • Drive improvement in teaching and learning practices through coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
  • Build the capacity of individuals and teams through effective leadership and management
  • Work collaboratively with the executive team to develop and implement whole-school strategic priorities
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and developing curriculum programs
  • Proven track record of improving teaching and learning practices
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to build relationships and engage stakeholders
About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to join our team and contribute to the success of Warren Central School. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $145,499.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation.
