Expert Immigration Attorney

We are seeking an experienced immigration attorney to join our team. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for securing positive outcomes for our clients by providing accurate and relevant advice and assistance with respect to visa options and eligibility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and assistance to clients regarding visa options and eligibility
  • Prepare and lodge various types of visa applications, including family visas, working visas, Administrative Review Tribunal, and Federal Court appeals
  • Represent clients in visa-related interviews and appeals
  • Manage your own caseload with the support of a paralegal
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration legislation and regulations
  • Provide guidance on the complex and ever-evolving immigration landscape

Requirements:

  • Possession of a law degree and admission to practice within Victoria
  • Minimum 3 years post-admission experience as an immigration lawyer
  • Prior experience working with Employer Sponsored Visas and ART cases is essential
  • Technical knowledge of current Australian immigration law and policy
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
  • Experience managing a large caseload with multiple deadlines
