Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for heavy haulage permit applications, ensuring timely processing and accuracy of submissions to facilitate smooth operations
  • Liaise with statutory and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with permit conditions at all times, proactively addressing any issues
  • Schedule Police, Traffic, and Height Escorts as required for operations, coordinating logistics to ensure safe and efficient transport of oversized loads
  • Complete administrative tasks to assist the Heavy Haulage (HH) operation, including maintaining records and documentation related to permits and operations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, HSE&Q systems, and standard work procedures
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external authorities regarding permits and regulations
Requirements
  • Notable experience in administration or coordination, ideally in transports and logistics, Heavy Haulage would be ideal
  • Familiarity with main road networks and regulations, including compliance requirements for oversize and overmass vehicles and traffic escort protocols
  • Proficient in completing Western Power permit applications and applying for permits through main road authorities
  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude and commitment to quality work
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and meet deadlines
