About the Role

Cappro Pacific is seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join their team as a Plant Mechanic/Yardsman/PDI Technician/Allrounder.

This is a crucial role for maintaining the optimal condition of equipment for hire and use, including pre-delivery assembly and inspection of new plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of earthmoving machinery, including excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, and skid steers.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure new machinery meets the highest standards before being dispatched to clients.
  • Carry out repairs on-site and maintain the quality and safety of all equipment.
Requirements
  • Certificate III Plant Mechanic.
  • Valid forklift license.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment is essential.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to perform occasional fieldwork for on-site repairs.
What We Offer
  • A competitive rate of up to $50 per hour, plus superannuation.
  • Occasional overtime opportunities.
  • A full-time role with working hours from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, including a one-hour lunch break.
