Job Overview

This role involves creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that fosters learner-centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned curriculum policies.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluate their effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
  • Engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
  • Establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and support their spiritual and moral development

Requirements
  • Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students
  • A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development
