We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD student to join our research team at Monash University, working on the development of novel optical microcomb technologies for efficient communication systems.

About the Project

The project aims to explore the potential of microcombs in simplifying communication systems, reducing energy consumption, and increasing data transmission rates. You will be working with a team of experts in optical physics, telecommunications, and data processing to develop innovative solutions for the future of communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on optical microcombs and their applications in communication systems

Requirements

To be eligible for this PhD scholarship, you should have a strong background in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field, with a GPA of >80% (or equivalent). You should also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
