Job Title: Membership Liaison Manager

The Membership Liaison Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with our members, driving growth and retention within our membership database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with members to keep them informed about upcoming events, promotions, and initiatives that enhance their membership experience.
  • Develop strategic plans to increase member engagement, including regular promotional activities and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with the events team to prepare sponsorship advertising, promotional materials, and signage that showcase our valued sponsors.
  • Establish new relationships with external organizations to expand our membership base and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Attend regular events, serve as the primary point of contact for member feedback and concerns, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of our membership database, member portal, and website content to provide a seamless user experience.
  • Oversee the development and upkeep of our Membership Kit, both online and in print, while continually evaluating and refining our membership renewal and new member strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a membership leadership role, preferably within a sporting or recreational organization.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies to attract and grow membership databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with a focus on forward planning and adaptability in response to changing circumstances.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking skills, coupled with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, particularly those used for management reporting and data analysis.
