Vacancy Overview
This role reports to the Membership Manager, focusing on delivering outstanding customer service to all members, fans, and ticket purchasers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service to all members and fans.
- Making proactive calls to prospective and existing members to meet sales and revenue targets.
- Working collaboratively with the consumer team to deliver high-quality services, meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Crafting effective retention strategies to ensure membership aligns with organizational goals.
- Overseeing the club's nurture program for first- and second-year members.
- Designing and implementing structured follow-up strategies for non-renewals.
- Addressing potential issues affecting member retention and developing intervention programs as needed.
- Contributing to daily operations of the consumer team in collaboration with the manager and team members.
- Recording member and fan information, feedback, and follow-ups in the customer database, maintaining data integrity.
- Growing revenue through promoting premium membership packages and add-on products.
- Participating in match day and event activities as required.
- A strong personal brand reflecting GCFC values.
- Proven skills in sales, relationship building, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- High-level written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service to staff, clients, members, fans, and guests.
- Experience with databases and maintaining customer records.
- Resourcefulness and ownership of responsibilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within a 24/7 environment.
- Team-oriented mindset contributing to organizational goals; knowledge of AFL is desirable.
