Logistics Operations Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in defence logistics operations, supervising teams to ensure seamless logistical activities are conducted in accordance with approved processes and procedures.

  • Lead a team of logistics professionals to manage the receipting and issuing of stock using advanced ERP systems.
  • Investigate discrepancies in stock levels, transactions, batch numbers, and serial numbers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory stock takes, documenting and certifying results, and reconciling any discrepancies found.
  • Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Support the management of calibration and servicing schedules for all programme support and test equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of defence multi-functional warehouse operations, hold a Cert III in Warehousing or Transport and Distribution, and possess experience with Defence Computer Logistics Systems (ERP).
