AACAFS is an Aboriginal-led, self-determining for-purpose organisation established to support vulnerable and at-risk Aboriginal children and families. Our focus is improving the welfare and well-being of Aboriginal children, young people, and families through culturally responsible support.

AACAFS prioritises respecting children and young people, listening to their views, and ensuring their safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting daily care needs of children and young people in AACAFS's care.
  • Supporting case plan goals in consultation with service consultants.

We seek individuals who have:

  • The right to work in Australia.
  • A valid NSW driver's license and comprehensive vehicle insurance.
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • Previous experience working in youth services or community services.
  • A minimum Diploma in Community Services or Youth Work (or equivalent). Opportunity exists for a person to be studying towards this qualification as long as they can demonstrate adequate knowledge and skills in their application and throughout the recruitment process.
