Limestone Stonecutter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Production Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our production unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is physically able to lift products up to 20kg and has confidence using hand and power tools. You will be working as part of a team and individually, operating large saws to measure and cut cladding and blocks from quarry cut limestone. Additionally, you will be responsible for picking and packing limestone products onto pallets, wrapping them, and operating a forklift to move stone around the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To operate large saws to measure and cut cladding and blocks from quarry cut limestone
  • To pick and pack limestone products onto pallets and wrap them
  • To operate a forklift to move stone around the yard
  • To maintain a clean and tidy work area

Requirements:

  • Physically able to lift products up to 20kg
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work with urgency and accuracy
  • Understanding of safe work practices in a manufacturing space
  • Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
  • Current license and reliable transport
  • Punctuality and reliability essential
  • High attention to detail
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
