About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Project Engineer I. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering automation and/or protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement assigned work within agreed-upon scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Provide training and assistance to customers on the creation, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
  • Participate in the preparation of functional design specifications and detailed design documents.
  • Maintain high-quality and safety standards throughout all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with electric power systems, industry practices, and focus area practices and philosophies.
  • Strong knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration, and/or automation and communications applications.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineer in Training certificate.
  • Experience in electrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator environments.
  • Project engineering experience.
