Job Title: Portfolio Excellence Manager

Due to an internal promotion, we have a unique opportunity to welcome a Portfolio Excellence Manager based in Sydney on a full-time basis. This role is key to supporting the management of all owned and exclusive brands within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop brand strategies, plans, and tactical initiatives to drive sales growth, product quality, and value to retailers and consumers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a relevant and exciting brand and portfolio architecture that meets the needs of consumers, retailers, and the category team.
  • Lead the New Product Development (NPD) stage gate process for the IBP portfolio.
  • Ensure the brand and portfolio range meet the needs of the company demands across all categories.
  • Drive retailer engagement and ownership of the NPD process through various channels including regional and national retailer committees.
  • Develop and maintain category and channel strategy, including the use of ranging, promotional, and price optimization techniques.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to owned brands and suppliers of agency brands, including scheduling and facilitating supplier review meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years' experience in retail and/or brand marketing, ideally with retail and/or FMCG background.
  • A proven track record in delivering New Product Development to market.
  • Extensive background and experience in liquor category management.
  • Strong financial and business acumen to understand and manage business levers and impacts.
  • Innovative thinking, balanced with pragmatic execution.
  • Significant experience facilitating outcomes across a range of stakeholder groups.
  • Influencing skills and ability to rapidly establish rapport with internal stakeholders to drive execution.
  • Advanced Excel skills with exposure to working on Power BI preferred.
