**Job Description**

The Deputy Clinical Information Manager is a key role within the Clinical Information Department, responsible for managing patient records and ensuring accurate clinical data collection.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to support our commitment to providing high-quality clinical information services. As a member of the CID team, you will assist in managing patient records, collecting and maintaining accurate statistical data, and upholding confidentiality standards.

Located on Level 1 of the main hospital building, the CID provides essential services to internal and external stakeholders, including record control, confidentiality and medico-legal services, Patient Administration System (PAS) management and training, medical coding and data provision for research, as well as the design and development of clinical forms.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent experience working in Clinical Information.
  • Proven knowledge of NSW Ministry of Health policies and guidelines on confidentiality of patient information.
  • Demonstrated high-level computer skills with knowledge and experience using the Cerner Patient Administration System (eMR) and Microsoft Office.
