Our organisation is a leading manufacturer of food products, operating multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand. We supply a wide range of frozen, shelf-stable, and chilled products to major retail and foodservice customers.
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to perform planned and scheduled maintenance activities on a wide range of fixed plant and equipment.
You will work closely with the Production and Engineering teams to provide mechanical expertise and support to our operations. This will involve inspecting, testing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, identifying faults, and performing breakdown repairs.
Key Performance Indicators: Successful completion of maintenance tasks, identification and resolution of equipment issues, provision of technical support to production teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated background as a Maintenance Fitter
- Australian recognised mechanical trade certificate
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and knowledge of food processing equipment
