Delivering business growth requires a unique blend of financial expertise and partnership skills. As a key member of our retail finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business ambitions and shaping the e-commerce landscape for Australian customers.

This is not an average finance position. You will partner with business leaders to understand overall business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.

As a trusted advisor, you will support the development of business cases, assess investments, and build strategic plans to drive growth. You will work independently on complex problems, demonstrating strong business judgment and influencing stakeholders through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Financial controllership for AU retail business, liaising with FP&A team on P&L and balance sheet deliverables.
  2. Develop clear narratives explaining performance variance for weekly/monthly business reviews and quarterly planning cycles.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed forecasts and plans during annual operating plan process.
  4. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate and track business opportunities and commercial programs.
  5. End-to-end ownership of Amazon Australia's Free Cash Flow program, partnering with Retail, Operations, and Transportation teams.
  6. Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce cost-to-serve in the Australian market, focusing on operational efficiencies.
  7. Support continuous improvement projects to streamline and automate reporting and analysis.
