Job Summary:
The Department of Health, Tasmania is seeking a Registered Nurse - Student Midwife to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - Student Midwife, you will provide quality, clinically appropriate midwifery care in partnership with women and their families/significant others and other health professionals while undertaking study that will lead to registration as a midwife.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide midwifery care to women and their families/significant others in a hospital setting.
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to develop skills and knowledge in midwifery practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of midwifery policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Confirmation of enrolment in a midwifery course accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
Working Conditions:
