Job Title

Health Security Assistant

Job Description

As a Health Security Assistant, you will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, assisting with the management of patients and providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.

You will be responsible for working as part of a team to assist with managing patients, providing support to the nursing team in the Emergency Department, and responding to emergency codes.

You will also be required to conduct patrols, monitor security systems and manage access controls to help ensure safety for staff, patients and visitors.

This is a varied and demanding role that requires flexibility and adaptability. You must be available for a 24/7 rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and night shifts, weekends, public and school holidays, and working in a morgue environment as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current Class 1A Security License with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
