Interior Design Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team. As an Interior Design Consultant, you will be responsible for working with clients to understand their design needs and preferences. You will also be required to develop and implement interior design solutions that meet the client's objectives and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on spatial planning, efficiency, safety, sustainability, and aesthetic requirements.
  • Develop and formulate interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Select, specify, and recommend functional and aesthetic materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures.
  • Negotiate design solutions with clients, management, suppliers, and construction teams.
  • Detail and document selected designs for construction, including preparing working drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in interior design for commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant 3D modeling software.
  • Experience in space planning, material selection, FF&E specification, and sustainable design solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, construction teams, and suppliers.
  • Strong client-facing and negotiation skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Weekend availability may be required.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year.
