About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our Collie BESS project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing conceptual and detailed engineering of the project's HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical BOP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and constructability of projects.
  • Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams.
  • Develop ITP and work packs for Electrical installation work packages.
  • Check Electrical works, Test Sheets, and signoff ITPs at the completion of works.
  • Assist the Project Manager with compliance to the documentation required under the UGL Management System.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in an Electrical Discipline.
  • Leadership ability and demonstrative experience in project management.
  • Substantial experience in HV electrical systems or worked on renewable/utility projects.
  • Proven experience with the supervision of technical staff.
  • Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.
