Lead a Sustainable Transformation

This role involves driving key initiatives that support the transition to a low-carbon future and embed sustainable practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in embedding sustainable practices into business operations and influencing strategic decision-making. They should also have hands-on experience working within carbon emissions and sustainability reporting frameworks, as well as skills in identifying emerging sustainability risks and anticipating operational impacts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and delivering a bold, company-wide Sustainability Strategy, owning ESG disclosures and reporting frameworks, and championing circular economy principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive enhancements to the Greenhouse Gas Accounting database to unlock decarbonisation insights and ensure credible reporting.
  • Lead climate risk and resilience assessments in partnership with internal teams and external experts.
  • Embed carbon reduction into core business processes and performance metrics, powering corporate decarbonisation.
  • Own sustainability data analysis and reporting, covering regulatory submissions, performance tracking, and executive communications.

Requirements:

  • Sustainability Leadership: Demonstrated experience in embedding sustainable practices into business operations and influencing strategic decision making.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Hands-on experience working within carbon emissions and sustainability reporting frameworks, with a clear understanding of governance and disclosure.
  • Risk & Trend Analysis: Skilled in identifying emerging sustainability risks and anticipating operational impacts.
  • Relevant Tertiary Education: Degree qualified in Science, Environment, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
