Job Description

We are seeking an experienced product and technical manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of our own brand strategy, ensuring technical process and ethical compliance requirements are met.

As a product and technical manager, you will mentor and coach a team of product developers and technologists to deliver against innovation plans. You will also develop and implement the Coles brand strategy to drive cost savings for the business, integrate strategic insight on customer and market trends to develop customer models and segmentation strategies, plan, develop, and execute new products to drive growth, and partner with senior stakeholders to ensure optimal category strategy is developed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a senior product technologist, ideally with technical capability in agronomy of retail fresh produce.
  • Developed people leadership experience and management of a diverse team.
  • Strong ability to deliver transformational change.
  • Exceptional collaborator, able to build and maintain relationships with farms and internal teams.
  • Experience developing commercial plans to launch and manage products within the portfolio.
  • Strong track record of leading and executing strategic initiatives and complex programs of work.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
