Job Description

Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary:

The Chandler Macleod Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our team in the Shire of Wiluna. As the primary link between Councillors and staff, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and managing the organisation to achieve the Council's vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Shire of Wiluna and the Council
  • Lead and manage the organisation to achieve the Council's vision and objectives
  • Act as the primary link between Councillors and staff
  • Provide support and professional advice to Councillors, including policy development
  • Lead the Shire into the future to achieve the Council's long-term plans

Requirements:

  • Sound background in Local Government
  • Experience in large-scale projects
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Understanding and working experience within a remote cross-cultural community
